I’m Emily! Welcome to The Leonard Home.

I created this blog to share about my life – cooking, entertaining, home renovation, travel.

I live in metro Atlanta with my husband Matt and our two beautiful dogs, Winnie the goldendoodle and Honey the bernedoodle. We moved into our 1996 fixer upper two years ago and have been ripping it apart and putting it back together ever since.

Matt and I fell in love at Georgia Tech. We met on our first day of classes freshman year, the day of the 2017 Solar Eclipse. I guess you could say the stars aligned the day we met! We bonded over music (we were both in the marching band all four years), cooking, Minecraft, and so much more. We got married right after graduation and are still loving married life three years later.

We both work in the software industry now, me as a Product Manager, Matt as a software developer. Our evenings and weekends are spent cooking, hiking, spending time with family and friends, playing games, spending quality time together. I’m happy to share that life with you 🙂
